You can take up our time, but you will never take our ship 

You may be spoiled or not and to be honest, none of us know anything of what is really going on, but regardless I was feeling down a bit yesterday. But then I said, screw it. I watched the scenes from 5x11 again and I realized something, even if the writers take up our time with these delays and possibly soon ridiculous third parties and obstacles, they will never take the essence of Chuck and Blair or why we love them because they have already established that way too much.

I’m not going to worry about “ruining” Blair because I’m going to hold onto the parts of her that I love most. The parts of her that would do anything for love, the parts of her that are so protective of Chuck she would rather be miserable than risk losing him. And I’m holding on to the fact that Chuck loves Blair so much, he was willing to give her up to see her happy, and now that he knows he himself is her happiness, he’s willing to go to obsessive lengths to hold onto their love.

While I hate the writers and even this show sometimes for so much heartache and needless crap they put in between, I am not letting go of that. Everything Chuck and Blair do is for love, and their love for each other has never wavered. It has been tested, it has been hurt, it has been through hell and each other’s hands and now at others’ hands, but it has never faded and it never will.

I may not be watching every part of what is coming, I may be surprised, I may be more crushed than ever, I don’t know. But what I do know is that Chuck and Blair will never be over. The have gotten over the biggest obstacles, now these coming are nothing in comparison to their great love. It was no accident that in this last episode, the “now and forever, I’m your king” part played with Chuck and Blair. Now and forever, its our ship.
